After long a poem and a recording together 🙂 This is my last post for A-Z Challenge on Zealous…..love…It was a wonderful journey to write everyday, a challenge indeed for a writer like me who is not used to so much content published daily. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did 🙂
Skyline – A Cinquain poem (FPFS – Day 2)
Buildings
Tall skyscrapers
Staring eyes of bulbs
Witness moments busy happy and sad
Yet silent
December 2014 was on a month long holiday in Asia. that’s where the Singapore Skyline is clicked 🙂 Tried my hand again at a Cinquain 🙂 Cinquain is a short, usually unrhymed poem consisting of twenty-two syllables distributed as 2, 4, 6, 8, 2, in five lines. It was developed by the Imagist poet, Adelaide Crapsey. Another form of Cinquain is as under.
Line 1: Noun
Line 2: Description of Noun
Line 3: Action
Line 4: Feeling or Effect
Line 5: Synonym of the initial noun.

I Opened My Eyes (FPFS – Day 1)
This form of poetry is called Rondeau. My first attempt at writing one. A Rondeau is a French form, 15 lines long, consisting of three stanzas: a quintet, a quatrain, and a sestet with a rhyme scheme as follows: aabba aabR aabbaR. Lines 9 and 15 are short – a refrain (R) consisting of a phrase taken from line one. The other lines are longer (but all of the same metrical length).

Autumn of Thoughts
Mind Clutter – a Haiku
Almari se Dil
In search – Teri Talash – a poem
I wrote this to write a journey but the words just got created and when the poem ended it got me more peace than what I intended to pen. A poet or writer does feel that peace after a creation. This is dedicated to all writers and poets in search.
A special mention is that I penned a guest post at Shashank’s blog, it’s my blogging journey. Something very special and dear to me, you can read it here.
I See No Love
Unkept Promises – Vaada Khilaafi
This is the first time I have tried to record another poet’s work in my voice. The beautiful words of Vaada Khilaafi have been penned by Rajveer Singh Prajapati.
Rajveer is a poet and writer of the novel ‘Destined Lives – Journey till the start’. He carries an equal amount of passion for Books and Royal Enfield Bullet. His friends call him Wikipedia due to his obsession with reading articles on it. Get to know more about Rajveer’s work at http://rajveerspace.blogspot.in/.
Priceless Moments
Tried my hand at a new poetry form called Minute Poetry. The Minute Poem is rhyming verse form consisting of 12 lines of 60 syllables written in strict iambic meter. The poem is formatted into 3 stanzas of 8,4,4,4; 8,4,4,4; 8,4,4,4 syllables. The rhyme scheme is as follows:aabb, ccdd, eeff. Have tried to fit in the syllables taking some liberties in order to maintain the mood of the poem theme.
