Tried my hand at a new poetry form called Minute Poetry. The Minute Poem is rhyming verse form consisting of 12 lines of 60 syllables written in strict iambic meter. The poem is formatted into 3 stanzas of 8,4,4,4; 8,4,4,4; 8,4,4,4 syllables. The rhyme scheme is as follows:aabb, ccdd, eeff. Have tried to fit in the syllables taking some liberties in order to maintain the mood of the poem theme.

You bet buddy, it was difficult with the syllables and rhyme to match. Well till the time I receive your feedback the treasure box wouldn’t empty.

Maut toh bas ek pal ki kahani hai,
Maut se pehle ki yeh hazaaron pal mein basi teri zindagani hai.

What I liked the most about the poem, apart from its brilliance, is the fact that you have explained the formation of the stanzas. That makes it even better to understand. Knowing this and then reading the poem again, gives a different joy altogether…..
