  1. All the most powerful emotions come from chaos -fear,anger,love- especially love. Love is chaos itself. Think about it! Love makes no sense. It shakes you up and spins you around. And then, eventually , it falls apart.

  2. Saans lete hue bhi Darta hu’n
ye na samajhe’n ki aah karta hu’n

    Bahar-e-hasti mein hu’n misaal-e-hubaab
mit hi jaata hu’n jab ubharta hu’n

    Itni aazaadi bhi ghanimat hai
    saans leta hu’n
    baat karta hu’n

Sheikh saahab Khuda se Darte ho
main to angrezo’n hi se Darta hu’n

Aap kya poochte hain mera mizaaj
shukr allaah kaa hai marataa hu’n

Ye bada aib mujh mein hai ‘Akbar’
dil mein jo aaye kah guzarta hu’n

  3. Aapko miss karna roz ki bat ho gai,
yaad karna aadat ki bat ho gai,
apase dur rahena kismat ki bat ho gai,
    magar aapko bhulna
apne bas k bahar ki baat ho gai!

  5. I believe Love, the abstract feeling is inherently beautiful. It’s human that has the power to make this feeling look ugly or beautiful by the way they gift wrap this present, called Love. I am sure the protagonist will meet a better human who will gift wrap this feeling well.

    1. cant agree more, love is pure, its only humans who map it to other feelings to make it ugly. its the experience of love I depicted.

  6. It’s sad, but isn’t it true? Love isn’t all its touted to be. Deceit, pain and hurt. That’s all it boils down to be. Still we run after that. And, we call ourselves the most intelligent creatures in the universe!

    Irony! 🙁

  7. Whatever, love towards a person is essentially taking care of the person well within the limits set by the System around with no limit for sacrifice from myself.. I can, forever keep this reference and try work accordingly correcting myself alone as much as possible where I being a mortal am sure to err.. You brought out a real Thought for the Day, Shweta!

  8. Well, people usually call love o be painful. But is it really true? Most often if we look close it’s not the love that’s painful. It’s either not getting the love back, or misunderstandings between lovers, fight between them, not enough love and other problems which are painful. When it’s love, it is beautiful.
    Nice poem! Written beautifully…

  9. Terrific!
My heart and soul are with this poem and for this poem, Shweta!
But my humble submission is that the word ‘again’ is superfluous in the last line…hope no explanations required..!
(And no, I am by no means, suggesting you to alter your lovely poem…it is barely a curious reader’s observation:))

  10. No pain no gain Shweta; perhaps love too has to go through the churn but cherish this feeling too as it teaches you a lesson or two while bidding goodbye.

  11. Love has many faces, doesn’t it? (And many phases to, I guess. :))
    Nicely written, Shweta.

    Happy 2016.
Here’s wishing you lots of (enchanting) love this year. 🙂

  12. Love is nothing but Attention, Sacrifice, patience and what not.. It’s nothing but sticking to the Dharma of ours in this world as envisaged by the Great Seers of the world.. A 100% of this may be a Mirage in our lives but wherever the glimpses of Love are seen, a great Peace prevails all around without an exception.. So nicely penned the Poetry, Shweta.. Sorry for commenting a bit late!

  13. Very touching. Love comes with a package of laughs and tears, desires and heartbreak, hopefulness and betrayal. But we mustn’t ever give up on love. It shows it’s beautiful side when least expected and prevails through all our doubts.

Happy 2016 to you dearie 🙂
